Diethylene Glycol Butyl Ether

Diethylene glycol butyl ether is a slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether with excellent coalescing and coupling power. Diethylene glycol butyl ether glycol ether can be considered a slower-evaporating analog of Diethylene glycol butyl ether. It can be used in combination with Diethylene glycol butyl ether to lower the evaporation rate and increase the hydrophobicity of the solvent package. In addition, Butyl CARBITOL™ glycol ether offers 100% water solubility.

Application

Used as a solvent for plasticizers, coupling agents, pigment dispersion, industrial and household cleaners, nitrocellulose, varnishes, printing inks, oils, resins, esterification reactions or transesterification reactions, It can be used in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, electronics industry, semiconductor industry and other industries. It can also be used as an intermediate for plasticizers and as a diluent for hydraulic brake fluids, paint solvents, drilling fluids, antifreeze agents, brake fluids, hydraulic fluids for metal processing, and the like.
